Surf in Madrid

Dream come true! Surfing in Madrid will soon be possible. Rumours say that a complex with artificial waves will be opened the size of 100,000 m2. It will feature all kinds of luxuries like a beach area, restaurants, shops and fitness center. The waves can reach a height up to 2.2 meters high. The project – with an investment of 10.000 euro´s – is in process, as the last message of 4 december 2017 stated. It was supposed to be ready in summer 2016, so we´ll have to wait and see when it opens. Wouldn´t it be amazing; no more 4 to 5 hours traveling to the coast for surfing when you are living in Madrid. Madrid is an amazing city, it has everything you need, it was only missing surf! Catch waves after work or go with some friends to unwind and have fun with waves of guaranteed quality.
